Ikea Trip
These are a few things I got at Ikea in Canton.
These are the SLOM md. and large glass jars. They are great! right now I'm going through a clear glass phase... You'll see.
Merete beige curtains;
Beskada curtain rods;
Grono table lamps;
Tallvik lamp; not for light but for the lighting effect.
I ordered these a couple of weeks ago and got them last weekend. Pfaltzgraff Block Fleur Taupe. It's a shame they are discontinued so, these babies won't come out everyday but for special occasions.
And my everyday set is from Ikea.
Planning our next Ikea trip. =)

Basement Bar Empty Canvans
Basement bar.
I have to lay the carpet tiles down by next week, that's my time line. I've been concentrating on other things rather then the floors. It'll be a painful process since I've never done that before, specially doing it by my self. AGH!
This is an oak buffet that I bought from my friend Jen W., I slightly sanded it (not enough), primed and painted it so, I hope it lasts.
I have some cute pieces to display on there, I'm such an earring person. =)
Hopefully I will be get it done soon, but keep in mind I'm doing it all my self so, it's takes time. Motivate me! =)

Main floor bathrooms delay
Main floor bathroom.
And I thought I would start painting the main bathroom today... but instead I re-arranged the "new to me" furniture, did laundry, cleaned out kitchen cup boards and moved things about, made room in the basement for the new carpet tiles to be placed down later this week (sigh) so, yeah, right! That bathroom had no chance at all of being coated with a fresh coat of paint today...
So, I will postpone the painting for next week when the basement is finally complete! Whoo hoo

Everyone needs a little Craigslist in their lives
Here are my CL finds for this week.
The couch is absolutely beautiful, in pristine condition and I will put her in the basement. WOW, what a find!
Pub table will also be a part of the new basement right next to the bar and air hockey table.
The fridge will replace the old ivory 15 year old refrigerator that keeps leaking. It took me almost a year to find that right one on CL for very little money since I find it hard to spend 1K on a fridge, I rather travel =)
So, I can't hardly wait to put them in their new spaces... and show them off. Just another couple of weeks, Stay tuned! =)

Bringing life to ze basements
Re-finishing the basement and going from darken dungeon to a functional calm area is finally coming together. Contractor predicted to have it completed in a couple of months, but once he started he realized that there was a lot more to get done. The entire basement was rewired and it is "to code". See the wires hanging... =)
We finally have walls and paint up. This week I will commit to putting down the floors which are carpet tiles (I got them for the bargain price of FREE! ) The paint is BM, (I will never use anything else) tinted creamy mushroom from Behr. It makes the space clean and new flavored scent. Did you notice the newly painted fireplace?
I have a lot of work to do and I hope to have the floors and the study (not pictured) done this week. Floors for sure... then I'll start decorating with all my Craigslist, Hob Lob, HG and GW finds. You won't believe the beautiful things I've found =)
